Each Sunday morning, we offer engaging programming for infants through Grade 5, welcoming kids into age-specific groups where they can learn, worship, and grow in ways suited to their stage of development. Through Bible teaching, music, hands-on activities, and intentional discipleship, our desire is to help every child know God's greatness and experience His love in a safe, joyful environment.
Seedlings is our ministry for the youngest children at WLA. Each Sunday, trained and caring volunteers provide a safe, nurturing environment for your little ones, following our comprehensive child protection plan. We are committed to offering the best care possible during both of our morning services (9:00 and 11:00 a.m., or 10:00 a.m. during the summer).
We meet during both morning services (9:00 and 11:00 a.m.* or 10:00 a.m. during the summer) in the Grasshopper Room beside the Community Connections Office. Our class uses the Pre K/K curriculum from Gospel Light, guiding children through a two-year journey through the Bible.
*During the 11:00 a.m. service, Grasshoppers join the Grades 1–5 children in the Explorer Room.
Explorers meets during both morning services (9:00 and 11:00 a.m., or 10:00 a.m. during the summer) in the Explorer Room beside the kitchen.
Our first service class uses The Gospel Project from LifeWay Ministries—a three-year journey through the full story of Scripture that helps kids see how every part of the Bible points to Jesus.
Our second service class uses The Biggest Story curriculum, a two-year journey through the Bible that also points to Jesus in every lesson.
The Turbo class meets in the gym during the 9:00 a.m. service. Our class uses The Edge from Gospel Light—a two-year curriculum designed to help kids understand Scripture and apply biblical truth to their everyday lives.
During the 11:00 a.m. service, the Turbos join the JK–Grade 3 class in the Explorer Room.
