Life Groups bring believers together to share life and help one another follow Christ. Centred on God's Word, they are a place for discipleship, mutual care and encouragement, and working together to make Christ known.
Life Groups are shaped by God's Word. Together, we seek to understand biblical truth, apply it to our lives, and encourage one another to live faithfully in response to what God has said (Ephesians 4:15).
Life Groups provide a regular context for believers to know and be known by one another; to pray for one another, encourage one another, bear one another's burdens, and spur one another toward love and good works (Hebrews 10:24-25).
Life Groups encourage one another to make Christ known through personal evangelism and look for opportunities to serve and share the gospel together in our community (Matthew 28:18-20).
Life Groups are intended primarily for those who consider WLA their church home and are committed to participating meaningfully in the life of the church. Because healthy groups depend on commitment to one another, members are expected to attend regularly, participate meaningfully, and contribute to the care, encouragement, and spiritual growth of others. If you're ready to make that commitment, start by completing the Life Group Questionnaire.
