The Bible is clear that Christians have to care for those in need. The verse above from Matthew 25 gives us clear instruction that when we see people in need with our eyes and we practically have the ability to help, that we should, as if we were helping our Lord Jesus.
We have committed resources, time and lots of energy to care for the needs of those in our community, especially those in need in the city of London.
Our main purpose for all we do is the gospel of Jesus, and we care for others towards that goal. Our team commits multiple times in the week to walk in the community and bring the gospel to those in need and support the community with meeting practical needs.
We are always amazed by what we learn about ourselves as we care for those who live in very different circumstances. We do not see the drugs, fatigue or mess; we see a refection of God's grace in our lives. We see joy, love, determination, thankfulness, brokenness, hearts needing reconciliation to God.

If you would like to support the CIT Downtown Team financially, your gift will help us care for the community through food, drinks, and essential items such as socks, undergarments, coats, and boots whenever possible. We also provide Bibles and other materials to encourage growth in Christ.
