Let’s Talk About Homeschooling.

In these days of weirdness when we find ourselves doing all kinds of things we never imagined we would for the sake of the health of our neighbours, many of us find ourselves now having to consider what it looks like to educate our kids at home. As a homeschool mom who has attempted to do this for some 16 years now, I would like to dispel some myths, relieve some anxieties, and set some priorities for moms and dads who are wading into these waters for the first time.

Worship - with Andrew VanderPloeg

In times of difficulty, it’s helpful to remind ourselves that our Creator and Sustainer always has designs on our circumstances. What seems to simply befall us is never outside his foreknowledge, infinite wisdom, and sovereign control; that’s a hope-giving thought.

"Meeting" During COVID-19

While we are unable to meet in person, we thank God for technology that allows us to meet virtually.
Whether you're a life group leader, a ministry leader, or someone who wants to meet with others in the church: here are two ways to use video calls for meetings.

Remain Faithful

Good morning church family! We encourage you this morning with these words of the psalmist from the 67th Psalm: “Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you [God] judge the peoples with equity and guide the nations upon earth.”

Even in turbulent times we can, and should, praise our heavenly Father and we should be glad and joyful because God is just and deals justly with mankind, and he sovereignly guides and direct the nations of the earth. For those of us who love him and have been called by him, he works all things for our good.

It is a Good Morning!

Note: it is a good morning! It is a good morning because our Father sits enthroned over the universe, ordaining all that comes to pass by his powerful and loving sovereign will. It is a good morning because our Saviour sits a the Father's right hand, and he intercedes for us. It is a good morning because the Spirit resides in us and has sealed us unto the day of salvation. It is a good morning because new mercies from God are ours in Christ Jesus.
